To power up the frame I cropped the original photo to the essential portrait. By decreasing saturation of separate colors except the red one and followed by transition to black and white I got this strong portait. I especially asked him to stare and not to look into the camera. The result gave him an impression of thinking about life.
“People’s Portraits” is a collection of pictures taken all over the years. Most of the portraits are taken in the “profile perdu” modus. It means that portraits are made from behind or in profile. Mostly it is not possible to recognize the people, in accordance with privacy regulations all over the world. When a picture is taken in front an explicit agreement is given by the model.
